John J. Meyer, General Superintendent

John Meyer joined the Constantine Commercial Construction team in May 1989 as a project superintendent. He brings with him over nineteen years of field experience in all phases of construction.

In his position as general superintendent, John has the overall responsibility for all on-going projects. His duties include manpower/equipment scheduling and coordination, scheduling and progress review of individual projects, and company Safety Director.

John attends weekly staff meetings with company management, and is the direct link to the field. Daily issues are coordinated by him, as well as forecasts of labor workload, and subcontractor matters. John is the key to assisting project management with assigning the proper superintendent fitted to each job.

He attended Northern Virginia Community College as a student of Architectural Studies and Business Management and continued his education at Catonsville Community College in the Engineering and Drafting program.

He is active in the community; a member of the Queen Anne’s County Chamber of Commerce, chairman for the Queen Anne’s County United Way and organizational leader for the Queen Anne’s County 4-H Clubs.
